Abbotsford Christian School was established in 1991, as a mission branch of Christian Centre Abbotsford, with the purpose of equipping our learners with a Biblical World View, to go into the entire world and preach the Good News to all creation, with the help of God.
Our main focus is to equip our learners with the knowledge, skills, attitudes and values they would need to live their lives to the full - to find their destiny and purpose in Christ. We achieve this by implementing a learning programme in line with the National Curriculum Statement that has been filtered through a Biblical World View Tool.
This tool takes a critical view on all that is presented. This stance is founded in the following four questions:

1. What is God’s view on the topic at hand? (God’s original plan - Creation)
2. Where did mankind fall in implementing the topic at hand? (Fall of mankind)
3. How can redemption be achieved in the topic at hand? (Redemption through Christ)
4. How can mankind receive fulfillment in the topic at hand? (Fulfillment by Holy Spirit)

The above approach is followed in all learning areas and ensures Christ-centered education, coupled with an opportunity for learners to make informed decisions.

We aim to prepare our learners to reach the world – not to protect them from it.

  - this is a natural outflow, from the inside out, once truth, healing and relationship with Jesus is established

  - the development of a lifestyle of worship where behaviour and attitude points to Jesus
• SERVE Jesus
  - Servanthood, denying the self and compassion for others

Abbotsford Christian School has plans for the futher development of the schools facilities by adding an indoor sports centre and a cultural centre.
